Well, now that the New Year had finally sunk in to my body...

Okay, I lied. I'm basically typing this only an hour away after my previous insomniac post, due to the inability to return to sleep. Still, thinking that I'm scheduling for this post to go up the next day (which is today, by the time you're reading it), I figure my body will have had properly adjusted to the New Year with a proper sleep (I hope so...).

So, what are the things that I'm looking forward to in 2013? Want an honest answer? NONE... Hahaha! Nope, not kidding there... can't actually say I have anything I want to resolve this new year though, probably learning from past mistakes stories... where too much hoping led to too many hardship. So, this year, I'm thinking of going with the flow, and hopefully will be able to post another rambling by the time 2014 approaches...

I do however, have some shows I'm looking forward too, and here they are in random orders:
Japanese stuffs...

• Sakura Taisen, well my love to this series is as strong as it was... Not really hahaha. However, let's just say that this is probably the one and only show that I've been very faithful throughout my life, and intend to continue to do so in the future. I have my "New York Hoshigumi Live 2012" arriving in the middle of the January, "Revue in Little Lip Theatre V" CD to be delivered by the end of month, and a pre-order for the "Paris Hanagumi Live 2012" is already on my wishlist (just waiting for CDJapan to start their pre-order on the site). Still hoping the Kanadegumi solo songs would be released in studio version (with their seiyuu instead of the live cast) as well...
• Saint Seiya Omega... man, I'm a fan of Saint Seiya since those days when I needed to sneak in to my neighbour's house to watch it, so I was happy when the 13-years-after sequel started airing April last year. You can bitch or whine about the show as much as you like, but for me... I like this show, especially now that the new Sanctuary with the new Gold Saints arc is running. Can't wait to see the next episode this sunday... and already thinking of getting the complete series of the original 86 just for the sake of nostalgia hahaha
• Polar Bear Cafe, I'm basically a sucker to this show (just count how many tumblr posts I made for this show). Put aside those lousy teenage drama-comedy-thingy, and bring charming animals with all their traits. This one feels 'mature' (was going to use the word 'adult' but I figure it has a different -negative- context as well), and I really enjoy every new episodes. Now that my internet connection had been rendered mostly useless, I couldn't manage to get lot of shows on a weekly basis anymore... so, Shirokuma Cafe is probably one of those series that will definitely be on my top priority. Well, at least until it ends in episode 50, which is around 12 episodes from now.
  
• Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger, after the lack-luster disaster I saw in 2012's "Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters" (hey, one's entitled to his own opinion right?), along with the bored-syndrome that hit me with the Kamen Rider franchise (let's be fair and square, Wizard started out good... but it got really stall and boring... at least for me). However, the new Sentai promised a bright-take with Dinosaur, partner-robots, and Samba/Music-based attacks. Interesting right? Well, I'm going to have a go for 1-10 episodes first, and let's see if it will end up on my 'Ditch-List' as well...  
• Batman The Animated Series!!! I got the 4 disc complete box in early December, and have been watching the nostalgic episodes religiously. I was several episodes away from finishing the 2nd disc, so I'm going to dwelve into the next disc (Season 2) in the near future.
• School Rumble 2nd Term... Yes, eventhough I've been reading the manga for quite sometime, it was only recently that I managed to watch the anime. I'd finished the 1st season (all 26 episodes plus 2 additional extra) just before 2012 ended... so all that's left is the 2nd and 3rd season to finish in 2013. 

Western stuffs...

• Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 2, "Iron Man 3" featuring the one and only Mandarin as our big bad villain is coming this May, with "Thor: Dark World" following in November. Since "The Avengers" had risen up to become one of my most favorite movie of all time, it's not a surprise if I'm looking forward to what to come in the franchise... right?
• Tomb Raider, the long awaited re-boot game is coming this January (or is it March? I forgot)... and eventhough somehow it didn't feel like Tomb Raider again, I admit I'm curious and want to know how this will fare against the previous installments. After all, I'm an avid Raider after all... 
• Arrow, I'm not too much a fan of "Smallville", or any of the shows featuring DC Comic character (I sometimes even feel its weird that people clamored over them anyway -just kidding). However, upon watching the episodes of Arrow, my curiosity peaked and basically I'm really looking forward to what's to come in the show. Sure, my knowledge about the DC universe is poor, that I would never know if a guest cameo of other comic character showed up... but I'm enjoying this show, despite it's flaws at some areas. Now that I've sorta ditched "Glee" due to boredom, and the fact that my weekly download slots had been very limited now, it's a sure bet that I would focus more on Arrow instead of other shows.

Buat gamer sejati pasti udah familiar dengan shout out yang ada di judul di atas...
(*WARNING* posting berikut mungkin ada spoilernya hehehe....)

Yups, salah satu game yang sudah dinanti-nanti dari akhir tahun lalu akhirnya rilis juga. Wah, memang ga terasa berarti sudah masuk bulan April yah. The Mortal Kombat dirilis tepat tanggal 21 April kemarin -saat sedang asyik-asyiknya berkutat melawan kekesalan dalam diri sampai kelupaan ama tanggal rilisnya. Kemarin seusai ibadah Paskah aku dan my bro Suzaku meluncur ke toko game langganan di daerah BEC untuk membawa pulang satu game ini dan langsung memainkannya.

Nostalgia... mungkin itulah yang mengalir saat memainkan game ini. Karena dulu kami mulai memainkan game ini dari tahun 1992 saat pertama rilis dengan berbagai kontroversi yang ditimbulkannya. Dulu kami mainkan di konsol Sega MegaDrive/Genesis, sekarang di konsol modern XBOX 360 hehe.

Kemarin kami baru memainkan mode STORY, yang membawa kami (Kami = Aku sedikit + Suzaku sisanya hehehe) memainkan hampir semua tokoh protagonis dari 27 rooster karakter game yang tersedia secara bergantian, menelusuri alur cerita MK1 sampai dengan MK3 namun secara alternate world. Kenapa alternate world? Karena kisah diawali dengan Raiden (yang menyebalkan >.<) yang merupakan satu-satunya yang selamat dan hendak dihukum mati Shao Kahn, mengirim pesan pada dirinya di masa lalu, sehingga Raiden di era MK1 (sebelum turnamen Mortal Kombat dimulai) berusaha mengubah-ubah sejarah dengan mengubah-ubah jalannya cerita. WEW! Ya betul... Raiden bikin kacau cerita. Kami mulai mengambil kendali dari Johnny Cage yang awalnya merasa bahwa pertandingan ini adalah aksi Hollywood, dan terus bergantian sampai di klimaks kami memainkan Raiden untuk melawan Shao Kahn sebagai pertarungan finale menentukan hidup mati EarthRealm.

Sungguh sayang penggambaran karakter agak kurang rapi, sehingga bikin pengalaman melihatnya ga terlalu nyaman. Hal lain yang membuat antusiasme berubah menjadi caci maki (lebay mode on wkwk), adalah fakta bahwa kita harus mengendalikan Raiden untuk dapat menamatkan mode ini.... OH MY GOD, Raiden adalah karakter yang sangat konyol jika harus digunakan untuk melawan Shao Kahn. Pertarungan akhir ini berlangsung dari jam 6 sore dan baru berakhir jam 8 malam, setelah berpuluh kali RETRY dan sumpah serapah udah tidak bisa keluar lagi dari mulut hahaha (sekali lagi, lebay mode on... karena memang aku -bukan kami- cuma sesekali aja sumpah serapah saking kekinya). Menyenangkan juga sih, emosi yang menumpuk jadi tersalurkan. Setelah beres mode ini, kami beralih ke mode TRAINING, dimana setiap karakter yang di'kecewa'kan Raiden kami berikan kesempatan buat balas dendam dengan cara mencincang sang dewa Petir wkwkwkwkwkwkwkwkwk. FATALITY ROCKS!!!

Yang bagusnya dari mode STORY, adalah kita bisa melihat perjalanan kisah MK secara tidak langsung, dan bisa melihat beberapa hal khusus yang ada hanya seiring perjalanan cerita. Karakter seperti Cyrax (ternyata orang Jamaica!!) dan Sektor dalam wujud manusia, selain itu juga 2 orang Sub-Zero (kakak beradik), Smoke saat menjadi ninja, Kabal sebelum menjadi 'monster', Sindel saat dihidupkan kembali, dan satu karakter yang menjadi sebenarnya idaman semua orang sejak jaman dulu dan baru bisa ada setelah jalur cerita di'kacau'kan Raiden: Cyber Sub-Zero. Yup, Sub Zero disini justru menggantikan Smoke yang seharusnya dijadikan robot. Alur cerita yang biasanya tidak pernah kita liat saat memainkan game awalnya dulu, seperti kemenangan Liu Kang, atau alasan kebencian Scorpion terhadap Sub-Zero... semua terkisah dengan baik disini.

X-Ray Attack sekarang tersedia seperti layaknya Super Move, yang jelas-jelas terinspirasi oleh game fighting lain. Saat berhasil dilaksanakan, karakter yang kita mainkan akan menghajar lawan sehingga menghancurkan tulang belulang. Logikanya setelah dihajar seperti itu harusnya mati seketika, tapi... ya namanya juga game fiksi, pasti ada saja ga logisnya wkwkwkwk.

Hari ini kami mungkin akan kembali melanjutkan bereksperimen dengan FATALITY setiap karakter. Fatality adalah fitur utama yang mungkin membuat Mortal Kombat laris manis, terlebih lagi di game ini setiap Fatality dibuat serealistis mungkin sehingga sangat bloody dan gorey... X.X eh tapi beneran, kami aja sempat meringis ngeri waktu melihat Raiden dijadikan sasaran empuk di mode TRAINING. Isi perut bisa beruraian seperti sewajarnya, dan potongan bagian tubuh pun make sense... ketimbang dulu saat di jaman 1990an, karakter yang dibunuh bisa mengeluarkan tulang belulang yang mungkin beberapa kali dari jumlah sewajarnya. Ada beberapa yang masih ga masuk logika, tapi at least berusaha se-make sense mungkin seperti contohnya "Scream of Death"nya Sindel yang sekarang dinamai "Migraine", jadi lebih masuk akal ketimbang waktu di jaman MK3 dulu.

Kesimpulannya, game ini memang layak dimainkan... kendati feel dan awesome-ness-nya ada di level berbeda dengan game keluaran Jepang seperti Marvel vs Capcom 3, atau Street Fighter IV. Yang jelas bakal menghabiskan waktu lumayan lama buat mengunlock berbagai secret yang ada di THE KRYPT. Buat anda yang menyukai game fighting, patut dicoba... terlebih lagi buat mereka yang pernah menikmati masa indah di jaman SMP/SMA dulu saat game ini rilis pertama kali, patut untuk jadi koleksi.

Oh ya, satu hal terakhir... menyoroti fakta bahwa game ini adalah game dengan rating MATURE alias 18 tahun ke atas (malah seharusnya 21 tahun ke atas), aku mau menghimbau para orang tua agar bisa bersikap BIJAK. Game ini sudah dapat dibeli secara luas dimanapun, harap anda saat membelikan game baca dulu ratingnya. Kadangkala orang tua sekarang tidak bertindak bijak, sehingga asal saja membelikan game, baru seudahnya marah-marah karena tidak pantas buat mereka. Game se-level Mortal Kombat 2011 ini PATUT dijauhi anak-anak di bawah umur, karena banyak kekerasan dan aksi dewasa yang belum tepat mereka saksikan. Ga yakin deh apa yang terjadi, kalau mereka liat isi game ini. Mungkin secara psikologis akan menjadi shock buat mereka? Aku gatau, tapi yang jelas... sebisa mungkin wahai orang tua... BIJAKLAH! Kalau anak anda cari game, jangan tawari Mortal Kombat, belikan saja game animasi Rio yang rilis bersamaan. FYI, game ini sampe di-bann ga boleh rilis di Australia yang tidak punya sistem rating buat game.

Sip deh, lanjut lagi main game. Seperti aku bilang, lumayan juga jadi pelampiasan buat mengobati perasaan yang sedang suntuk. Dibanding mukul orang, mending dilakuin dalam game aja kan? Emosi tersalurkan, tidak ada yang disakiti Hahahaha

Last night, after a silly chat about daily stuff...

Me and my brother watched the Professor Layton Movie: The Eternal Diva. Yup, this week has been quite a very "Layton-ed" week for me. After a long wait of 1 year since its release, finally we are able to watch the puzzle professor in his big screen adaption.

For me this is an awesome movie, despite the gigantic disaster feel that vibed from it -that actually made it felt dark. The story started after the events of the 1st/2nd game where Layton and Luke, his apprentice solved the mystery of the Big Ben of London. We could conclude this by the appearance of Inspector Chelmy, Barton and Flora. After that, in his office, Layton asked Luke to reminisce of a certain past, when he played a particular music in his gramaphone. It's the song of the Eternal Diva, by one of Layton's former student, Jenice Quatlane -the opera diva. The song took us to an event 3 years passed, when Luke was just a freshman assistant for Layton. Here we are introduced to Remi Altava, the 1st assistant of Layton, because the event occured after the 4th game. Layton received a letter from Jenice, asking for his help to solve the mystery of the Eternal Life from the lost city of Ambrosia. The two were invited to watch the opera at Crown Peton where lots of high class societtes attended. It was not the opera that intrigued those people, but the fact that the director of the show has offered the Potion of Eternal Life for one of the lucky guest. And so the tragedy started, the show turned into a terrifying puzzle where only those who can answer correctly could move on the a higher level. Lots of people were tricked, and the tense increased greatly. And so finally, Layton, Luke and Jenice are among the 12 lucky contestants, who are brought to a secret island called Ambrosia, where they will try to solve the true meaning of this whole event.

The addition of several, yup only several Puzzles in the movie, headlines the true power of Layton in this movie. To my little perfection, I found that the small number is not really enough, but then again, too much will create draggy atmosphere as well. However, these puzzles were able to make us, at least me and my brother, tried to think of the solution. The CG effects of this movie is awesome, and from the sense of the animation, I can honestly say that the experience was the same as playing the games.       

For those of you who are Professor Layton's fan, I highly recommend watching this movie. Because this is the 1st of the planned trilogy, and it is really a breakthrough for the franchise. You'll love it if you're a fan!

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to solve a puzzle before I go to work hahaha

Is the English, or to be exact the US title of "Layton Kyouju to Saigo no Jikan Ryouko" (Professor Layton and The Last Time Travel)...

This is the third installment of the Professor Layton Series. The UK/Europe version is called "The Lost Future". The final episode of the trilogy, that involves Professor Layton, his apprentice Luke Triton and the additional characters in London. The story takes place in 2 set of time, the present London and the future London, where Layton meets the 10 years older Luke Triton, or Big Luke.

I've been playing the US version since Friday (September 17th) and is having a good time with all the new puzzles, eventhough the concept of the game actually feels draggy now that I'm at my 3rd title. Yes, the concept is similar to the first and the second game , which is a puzzle game. We wander around London, meeting lots of people with puzzles, and even completing puzzles to unlock gateways to new areas. Even with the same concept, these titles has their own storyline that is truly the main reason for me to play them. The first title guided us to a "Curious Village" where Layton and Luke tried to solve a mystery requested by the owner of the place, who wanted to save his one and only daughter Flora. The second title guided us to a trip searching the Elysian/Pandora Box with the Molentary Express, to reveal that the box actually preserves a memory of a true love. I had lost of fun with the previous two titles, even when I used walkthrough to make it to the end of the 2nd one hahaha. Back to the 3rd title.... I've played the JPN version of this game sometime last year, but I couldn't even past Chapter 2 because... well, the puzzles themselves are not an easy task to answer... added to the fact that I was trying to read it in Japanese: it became twice the puzzle indeed. So having the English version is a splendid treat for me now...

At the time this post is made, I've reached Chapter 10 of 14. Still a long way, because I've solved only 85 of 168 puzzles available. I've nailed most of them myself, and several with the help of a walkthrough. Yup, I admit that I'm too lazy to solve moving blocks puzzle that takes time and held me back to moving on with the storyline. There are several complicated puzzle, but since I've only went half the way, I can still manage. Besides, having experienced with 2 earlier titles, I think I've got higher knowledge in seeing that a puzzle sometimes has a trick that sometimes creates different anwer than what we've supposed to think. For example, this one puzzle, asked us to count the number of people, from a group of tourists in a double decker bus. The answer is not that predictable because you need to add the fact that there are two other additional people beside the tourists. The tour guide, and yes... the BUS DRIVER. Very neat, huh?

The story itself tells us about a Time Machine created by Dr. Stahngun. In a public demo, a huge chaos happened when the machine exploded and caused Bill Hawks, the prime minister, to vanish. This prologue, brought us to encounter letters from the Future Luke, asking Layton to solve the mystery from a different time. And thus, Layton and Luke had to traveled to 10 years ahead-London to put all the puzzled together. Later on, Flora and the others joined Layton to access the future themselves.

What I really love about the story so far, is that it digs deeper into the character's past. Revealing Layton one-time lover Claire, the reason why Don Paolo called himself an arch-nemesis for the puzzle Professor, and all. And there's this fact (warning! SPOILER ahead) that makes me want to continue the storyline as soon as possible:

Luke : "..."
Layton : "Luke! There you are!"
Luke : "...Oh, hi, Professor."
Layton : "I see you've gone out for a stroll. Do you mind if I join you?"
Luke : "No problem. Sorry to run off. I was just... well, I was just thinking."
Luke : "We've had so much fun these last few years. And I've gotten so used to going everywhere together."
Layton : "Of course you have. After all, we're the best of friends. It's only natural we'd spend time together."
Luke : "Dad told me the other day that his job is transferring him. So we'll all be moving."
Layton : "Ah, yes. Your father mentioned that to me as well. Tell me, Luke, do you believe that we're true friends?"
Luke : "Of course I do! How can you even ask that?"

Layton : "Good. Then there's no need to worry."
Layton : "You see, true friends share a special connection. And this connection endures no matter how far apart they may be separated physically."
Layton : "Distance and time apart are irrelevant to the bond formed by a true friendship...."
 
To be honest, those simple dialogues made me go... "What the...???" T____T 
I've heard rumors about this being the last adventure of Layton and Luke, but new titles popping up after this one (The Eternal Diva, The Specter's Flute, The Mask of Miracle) made me doubt about that rumors. Even from starting this game, there's no definite events leading to that rumor. But then, after almost 60% progressing the game, the truth is revealed. And to add more facts to the rumor, the new titles I mentioned happened BEFORE the 1st game, and Wikipedia said that this 3rd game is the final title from the chronology. Wow... I mean wow, so this is another GOODBYE? I've been experiencing different kind of this 'farewell thing' lately, is it a sign for me?
 
Anyway, I'm on my quest to finishing the storyline. Hopefully, if I can make use of my spare time, I will be able to nail it by the end of this week. When the time comes, I'll be posting another review to this game, as well as the review to what maybe the conclusion to Layton and Luke's adventure...

Sesuai beberapa posting sebelumnya, dimana aku bilang ada 'penghuni baru' di rumah...

Yup! penghuni baru tersebut sudah benar-benar unjuk gigi dan menunjukkan kemampuan supernya, dan bikin kita-kita di rumah asyik ngendon depan TV menyaksikan aksinya hehehe. Dan terutama untuk aku, AKHIRNYA bisa menikmati aksi Lara Croft dalam Tomb Raider Legend dan Tomb Raider Underworld dalam mode HD yang bikin perasaan nyaman dan excited. Tentunya tanpa harus ganggu Mr. Lan-D untuk bawa laptopnya dan maenin di rumah sembari nyolok kabel buat display ke TV hehehe (Peace bro). Well, sesungguhnya ga cuma itu, karena kedua game ini jelas-jelas tingkat kesulitannya jadi lebih tinggi sehingga lebih deg-deg-an dan menimbulkan teriakan-teriakan heboh saat dimainkan (palagi kalau sambil maen ditonton sama ponakan/sepupu yang kecil-kecil)....

Apaan sih penghuni baru itu? Ini dia:

Masih belum jelas apaan? Ini ada kardusnya yang mungkin lebih jelas hehehehe...

Yang jelas dengan ini akhirnya bakal bisa maenin King of Fighters XIII, Tomb Raider series yang bakal rilis nanti PLUS Mortal Kombat remake yang previewnya aja udah super sadis deh... MANTAP!!! Hehehe. Dan meski sekarang udah bisa maenin Final Fantasy XIII, tapi biarlah itu menjadi jatah Geo aja hehehehe. Yang sungguh sayang ga bisa muterin video karena cuma bisa maenin format WMV T.T

Yah, yang jelas puji Tuhan dikasih berkat buat bisa nambah perbendaharaan hiburan di rumah, biar ga usah keluyuran ga guna hehehehehe. Ini bukan nyombong, tapi sekedar bagi-bagi info aja hehehe

Tadi siang baru aja menyelesaikan game Wii yang baru dibeli waktu Waisak kemarin...

Yaitu: Super Mario Galaxy 2

Game ini sekuel dari Super Mario Galaxy pertama, yang merupakan judul hit dan laris di platform/console Wii. Di sini, Mario bertualang melalui berbagai dunia yang beraneka ragam misinya dan juga settingnya. Kalo di game pertama, Mario membantu Rosalina mengumpulkan Star Bits yang bila didapatkan akan meng-unlock dunia berikutnya dan jalur menuju akhir kisah terbuka. Bowser menculik Putri Peach (...as always... ~_~) dan tugas Mario disertai Toad dan Luigi untuk menyelamatkan sang Putri. Di sekuelnya ini, ada bantuan tambahan dari Yoshi yang lucu, dan banyak sekali dunia yang membutuhkan bantuan Yoshi.

Yang juga berbeda, di sekuel ini Rosalina hanya muncul di akhir untuk menjemput baby Luma yang tertinggal, dan Mario menaiki Mario Starship yang berwujud wajahnya (dapat dilihat di cover gamenya). Bisa dibilang ga terlalu jelas hubungan antara game pertama dengan kedua, karena kisahnya bisa berdiri sendiri.

Gameplaynya lebih seru dibanding yang pertama, dengan penambahan Drill Mario, Cloud Mario dan juga Rock Mario. Tentunya hal tersebut membuat aksi Bee Mario jadi ga terlalu banyak, bagus banget karena memang cukup mengesalkan hahahaha. Yoshi sendiri bisa menjadi Glow Yoshi dan juga Bubble Yoshi. Cuma, alur kisahnya aku lebih senang dengan yang pertama terutama dengan Istana Rosalina (Comet Observatory) yang keren banget dengan berbagai tempat menarik di dalamnya... dibanding dengan Planet Mario yang kecil, wah jauh deh. Kalo di sini, jadi mirip Super Mario Bros karena alurnya terlihat linier. Jadi bisa dibilang kedua game punya good sama bad sidenya yang sama-sama layak dimainkan... walau terus terang, ada beberapa (tepatnya... banyak!) dunia yang harus diulang-ulang karena gampang banget mati.... hahahaha. Entah mungkin karena yang maennya kurang profesional juga jadi alasan yang masuk akal hahaha. Yang jelas kalo mampir ke rumah dan kedengar ada yang jerit-jerit histeris, itu tandanya udah ngulang beberapa kali satu dunia di Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Buat yang punya Wii, patut dan layak banget buat maenin game ini... karena ini game yang spektakuler, meraih review SANGAT positif dari banyak situs review game (lihat di sini: WIKI PAGE). Bahkan skornya hampir mencapai angka sempurna. Didukung oleh gameplay yang sangat fun, karakter yang ga bosen-bosen diliat, dan musik yang sangat TOP-NOTCH untuk didenger.... game ini patut jadi koleksi gamer!!! ^_^ Buat yang belum pernah maen, cobain yang Super Mario Galaxy pertama dulu, baru lanjut yang ini... awal-awalnya memang bakal pusing meng-kontrol Mario secara 3D yang bisa muter-muter bola dunia, tapi lama-lama terbiasa dan bisa enjoy...

Sekarang mau balik lagi ngelanjutin dunia-dunia yang belum beres.... Tamat sih udah, tapi jadi nge-unlock galaksi baru dan tentunya banyak dunia baru yang harus ditelusuri. dan kemarin juga dapet kiriman kumpulan lagu karaoke Sakura Taisen sehingga koleksi lagunya sudah komplit....

Yup... all the cases are closed!

Merujuk pada posting berikut http://furederiko.blogspot.com/2010/03/ace-attorney-investigations-miles.html , maka hari ini sudah tepat diselesaikan seluruh permainan dan mencapai endingnya. So far, ending Gyakuten Reiji atau Miles Edgeworth ini ga terlalu wah dibanding game-game sebelumnya, karena kalo di game-game sebelumnya ada rahasia-rahasia besar yang menyangkut tokoh utama yang terkuak... tapi overall, memainkan game ini tidak kalah fun dan tetap bisa memancing tawa dan penasaran. Kendati demikian, mungkin karena udah terbiasa dengan 4 game sebelumnya, maka kasusnya serasa lebih cepat dan mudah dipecahkan hehehe

Yang baru nyadar setelah ngeliat review di internet, Phoenix Wright, Maya dan Pearl Fey ternyata menjadi cameo di dalam game ini. Waaaaah! Koq bisa kelewat yah >.< mungkin gara-gara terlalu asik mecahin kasus...

Anyway, berikut adalah list game dari seri Ace Attorney yang sudah ditamatkan, dan terus terang, sedang menanti kemungkinan adanya sekuel dari Apollo Justice ^^

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Game pertama yang menampilkan debut Phoenix yang didampingi asistennya, seorang apprentice psychic di bidang channeling yaitu Maya Fey, untuk memecahkan misteri kematian mentornya, Mia Fey. Debut ini mengawali bekennya Phoenix, rivalrinya dengan Miles Edgeworth, dan kehadiran Ema Skye sebagai episode bonus. Disini Phoenix juga menunjukkan rasa persahabatannya yang tulus dengan menerjang resiko untuk menyelamatkan teman masa kecilnya yaitu Miles yang terjerat tuduhan pembunuhan, yang mau ga mau harus menguak masa lalu Miles yang sedih.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All 

Sekuel langsung dari game pertama yang menampilkan sosok baru Franziska von Karma yang merupakan anak dari guru besar Miles. Franziska hadir membawa dendam pribadi terhadap Phoenix karena telah mengalahkan sang ayah yang telah melegenda di dunia pengadilan. Disini keberadaan silsilah keluarga Fey semakin diperjelas dengan kunjungan ke desa Fey, dan membuka alur kasus yang terjadi di dalam keluarga tersebut. Alur kisah keluarga Fey inilah yang kemudian menjadi benang merah untuk ketiga judul game Phoenix Wright.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations

Disini player diberikan kesempatan untuk berperan menjadi almarhum Mia Fey, yaitu mentor Phoenix, yang pertama kali bertemu dengan Phoenix saat pria itu masih di bangku kuliah dan begitu dimabuk cinta. Dan disini konklusi dari misteri hilangnya ibu Maya terkuak, dengan kematian ibu asisten sejati Phoenix ini... yang menjadi penutup dari trilogi kisah Phoenix Wright. Seluruh alur yang terjalin pada kasus-kasus di game sebelumnya, terkuak disini. Hadir pula sosok jaksa penuntut yang misterius, yang bernama Godot, yang ternyata termasuk dalam jalinan rahasia besar tersebut.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Tokoh utama di game ini bukanlah Phoenix, tapi muridnya yaitu Apollo Justice yang berusaha menguak rahasia besar mengenai keluarganya, dan juga membantu sang mentor untuk melepaskan diri dari jerat hukum yang telah merusak nama baiknya 7 tahun silam. Sosok Ema Skye yang sudah menjadi detektif forensik ulung pun hadir untuk membantu Apollo, dan itu pun karena rasa penghargaannya yang besar terhadap Phoenix.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

Game teranyar yang menampilkan tokoh Miles Edgeworth bersama partner sejatinya Dick Gumshoe, beserta asisten barunya Kay Faraday. Disini Miles menguak misteri kasus KG-8 yang telah berlangsung semenjak debutnya sebagai Jaksa Umum.

Kira-kira apakah akan ada sekuel ke-6 dengan tokoh utama Apollo? Kita tunggu saja...
